XXIII Biennial Congress of the International Organization for Mycoplasmology (IOM) July 5-9, 2020 Tel Aviv, Israel

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to announce that the XXIII Biennial Congress of the International Organization for Mycoplasmology (IOM) will take place on July 5-9, 2020 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The 23rd IOM meeting is an international conference that deals with all areas relating to Mollicutes (eg Mycoplasmas, Phytoplasmas, Ureaplasmas etc.) from any aspect including biology, bacteriology, physiology, host interaction, diagnostics, and epidemiology of disease presentation and so on. Being both specific with respect to the pathogen group, but broad regarding the target population of audience, the conference is intended to cover some hot topics in both agriculture, veterinary and human aspects of infections. As such, the conference will cover important and burning topics as well as some classical aspects of Mycoplasmology. Traditionally the IOM Congress has both keynotes from outside of the field that can introduce some cutting-edge science that may foster new ideas and collaborations as well as overviews and new and novel presentations from the field of Mycoplasmology.

Therefore, the conference is designed for those who are deeply involved with the field of mycoplasmology, as well as practitioners in any of the related fields who would like to have both an up-to-date coverage on the related topics and to be exposed to new latest novel presentations in the field.

We expect more than 200 participants from all over the world to attend the conference. The world-renown experts is being selected by the scientific committee with support from the local organizing committee to update us on the latest in the mycoplasma field.

The 2020 IOM Congress will be taking place in Tel Aviv which is one of the three world heritage cities in Israel. Tel Aviv attracts more than 2.5 million visitors each year to enjoy its culture, beaches, food, and architecture, which few other cities can match. Come and join us for a scientific and cultural experience which should not be missed.

Looking forward to seeing you all at IOM2020.
